HOME REMEDIES FOR BLACKHEADS

Blackheads are very common in young people but many of them do not know what they are. This is not a serious problem, for it leaves no permanent effect. However, taking regular care of the skin can prevent them.

Blackheads are black spots on the skin that occur due to excess deposition of oil, dead skin, dust, bacteria, and other impurities. The excess secretion of oil expands and thickens the pores of the skin. The oil collects in the pores and develops into a cyst or swelling. The pores are then blocked with hardened sebum or oil. Since the pores are open, the tip of the blocked grease is exposed to the air and oxidizes, turning black. Hence, blackheads are formed.

Fresh air, sunlight, leaving a stress-free life, drinking enough water, not eating junk foods, refined sugar products, meat, excess diary products are good for your health and prevents you from blackheads

Herbal tea is a good replacement for strong tea and caffeine and has no side effects. Let your skin breath, no makeup or less makeup enhances your natural beauty and keeps you away from various skin problems.

Blackheads can appear any part of the body such as on the back, chest and other areas that are rich in sebaceous glands. Never pick at them. Oily and combination skins are most susceptible to these. Oily skins attract dirt and grime from the environment and these collect in the pores with hardened oil. Blackheads cause the pores to be further enlarged and people with oily skins have a rough and coarse skin.

Blackheads do not only look unsightly, but they are the cause of acne. When a pore is fully blocked, the oil gland can get infected resulting into a pimple. Therefore, the control of blackheads is one way of preventing acne.
